Breaking down “Breaking the Beat” But, I will not be Broken!

OUT NOW! Breaking the Beat, a four track EP, signed by CARPS Label, of Ukraine. Minimal techno Is the vibe I was going for when setting the mood of the EP. This was composed over the span of a year.

I composed this EP during a very difficult time I was going through last year. My life went up in flames literally, lost everything but, I never lost my groove, I wrote each track in a trailer my partner and I were living in. We had a couple of small solar panels. they provided enough energy to charge our cell phones; to run the lights for two hours at night and we were able to use our laptops for 1 hour a day if we were lucky. , everything powered by the sun and working off the grid to turn a piece of nothing into something. . . I had no internet , but we were grateful to have running water. Then it was all set a blaze one awful day last September 2019 about this time last summer. This was a extremely devastating, After the initial shock, like the Phoenix we rose out of the ash, a new and ready to keep going, even though we lost everything we ever known including our pets which was the worst part about it. So that a little story about this EP and how I really composed it with taking all that I couldn’t express with words , but I could with sound. So, born were these four tracks …

Hello friends and family, It has been a really tough year trying to stay up to date on this page and I apologize for my absence. . . Some circumstances are uncontrollable and unavoidable. But, through every obstacle I have been confronted with I preserver. A few things that helped me get through this have been my supportive partner and friends and fans. But my love for music; spinning and producing has been my outlet. I use it as a way to meditate and express what otherwise I could not do in words or even some actions. I find peace and a drive in techno music that keeps me going. Like a meditation or a mantra, The repetitiveness and sequencing of the techno sound is like blood flowing through my veins, it gives me an outlet to express and to sort out my thoughts and feelings through sound. The beats are like my heart beat. It has become a culture for me, a way of life. A way to tap into the subconscious and find deeper meaning in life and the universe. The consistent rhythm that keeps going. In this mist of all of this, though it seems repediative there is a change within myself that is always happening and is apparent through time. I don’t fight it, I embrace it. I find peace and a drive in techno music that keeps me going. I wanted to start of by saying,” Happy New Year! Welcome to my blog! You found me! This is my first official newsletter I will be covering, my goals, projects, collaborations and personal insights for this 2020 year.

Last year I hadn’t really had much of an opportunity to sit down and communicate with you all the way I really intended to, keeping you posted on what is going on with me, 2019 turned out to be a really busy year for me. I had going on with my music and projects. But, it is a new Year, the beginning of a new decade.

This year I am excited to announce that I will be collaborating with a few respectable independent music artists, FLIP MY BEATZ on a really different track called “Members Only” , Bonnie Legion and WAVdr on our re-release of our. Out of this world single, “Stope-Thinking.” It is always a pleasure when we collaborate. P.Wasy@pwasySoundsOk And I have been working really hard on a really Unique EP Called Celestial. It is a four track EP shooting to release in Late winter. We are just putting the finishing touches on.

I have a few Acid Techno Projects that I will be releasing this year I have diligently been working on and excited about. One in which to watch for is my first remix ever. “Di Inspir” by Mr. Gemini with CARPS and ILISHO records. I haven’t done any remixes in the past because flat out I use to thing that they were too tedious to fuss with. But, recently I was asked to do this remix. I thought ,”What the hell, why not give this a go” It turned out really slamming! . Release TBA. I will get more into detail about in my next blog.

. I am just settling down after a big move again, so once I get studio up and put together, I plan on streaming myself on my YouTube Channel for my live mix sets, Podcast shows and starting a vlog to keep you all up to date on what new with me.

And here in the next few days I will be testing out streaming mp3 my podcast “Dimension Techno” And live and studio audio feeds as well through mainly Hearthis.at Facebook, Spotify Podcast and mix cloud.

Welcome back! I have not done anything with this blog since my first post. However, during this time I picked out and wrote down a few blog topics to blog about. In the near future I plan on blogging Indie music artist I have collaborated with. I am going to be going into more depth about my creative process. And would like to blog about off the wall topics….

So I am still working on the design of this blog and will be goring through the beautification process and hope to have it fully operational by the beginning of the new year.I wish you all a safe and happy Holiday.

My First Blog(Introduction)

Hello everyone who is reading this right now! I would like to introduce myself to you all, my name is Robert Paul Kreitz II, I am a artist in every way. I have my degree in Studio Arts and Art History. I paint, draw, sculpt and do some pottery; which I will talk about from time to time. I am also a Techno Music Producer, and DJ… This blog is bout me and my musical journey I am on.

I will keep you all posted on what is going on with me musically. I will blogging about material I have been working on, upcoming releases, the creative process of producing my tracks, what I am thinking, feeling at that time. I also will be blogging about collaborative projects with artists, upcoming events and gigs that I have played. I am interested in interviewing and shouting out upcoming artists.

I feel this is the best way that I can utilize the time I have available with my pretty hectic schedule. I look forward to hearing from you all. I am really excited about beginning this blog and letting you all in to my musical journey!
